The Idea

This has been a film four years in the making. And we are proud to finally be able to show it off to the world.

The six of us always wanted to do a massive paddling trip in the Northern Yukon, Northwest Territories and Alaska. But we didn’t want to just complete it; we wanted it to mean something. So on July 3rd 2013, we set out on a 1500km adventure with cameras in hand, to try to show the world what the North has to offer.

Currently there are a lot of changes happening in the North with the major factors being climate change and development; particularly in the mining sector. But unfortunately the majority of Canadians (or the world) have no idea what is up there or what can be lost.

We want to show the world that untouched wild places still exist and they are to be protected and enjoyed. Hopefully this project can inspire people around the world to get involved with the environmental issues that are facing the North but also in their own backyard.

So join us in the adventure and help us keep this idea alive!

When we’ll we get to view your film online. I teach environmental studies and I would very much like to have a viewing with my students.

    Thank you,
